Brazil Synopsis :

Sam Lowry er teknokrat i et futuristisk samfund præget at bureaukrati og stilstand. Mens han sidder i de endeløse rutiner drømmer han om at gro vinger og flyve sammen med den perfekte kvinde. I et spagfærdigt oprør mod systemet bestemmer Lowry sig for at omgøre arrestationen af en undergrunds-VVS-mand ved navn Harry Tuttle. Under arbejdet møder han rent faktisk sine drømmes kvinde, men nu har regeringen ham mistænkt for at stå bag en række bombninger i byen. Lowrys liv, der før var så sikkert, er pludselig i overhængende fare – men det er bestemt ikke kedeligt.
